Pendle Ski Club, located deep in the heart of Lancashire, is a family friendly club with a vibrant membership. It's on the south west facing slope where the piste can be found and it is here where I have spent countless hours practicing. The club is entirely managed and run by volunteers and the help and support that I have received over the years has been immense. It's a place that will always be special to me as it has been to my fellow GB team mate Dave Ryding.
The Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) is a Sport England funded partnership between talented athletes, education institutions and national governing bodies of sport. TASS assists athletes in education to get the very best from their sporting and academic careers without having to choose between the two. The support and guidance TASS has provided has allowed me to complete my education whilst competing at the highest level.
